A night to remember for the LGPS
A wonderful night was had by all at the LAPF Investments Awards of 2018, held at the Savoy Hotel, London on Thursday 20th September. Organised by DG Publishing, the LAPF Investments Awards are designed to recognise and acknowledge outstanding achievement by pension funds and service providers in the LGPS arena. Big winners on the night included Bromley, West Yorkshire, Strathclyde, Harris Associates and Pantheon. Denise Le Gal proved a very popular winner of the Outstanding Contribution of the Year award, while a special Judges Award was awarded to the late Kieran Quinn in recognition of his work in the LGPS and Greater Manchester Pension Fund. The awards ceremony was superbly hosted by broadcaster and journalist, Fiona Bruce. See below for a full list of winners.
